James Mulford: Jim has more than 20 years of operational experience in healthcare related companies and has joined Thompson Clive in 2003 to establish an office in the San Francisco Bay Area with a focus on investments in the healthcare arena. Jim was previously the CFO and eventually the CEO of Phonic Ear, a wireless communications company targeting the hearing impaired. As CEO of Phonic Ear Jim participated in leading a Management Buyout of Phonic Ear along side Thompson Clive as the lead Venture Capital investor. Prior to joining Phonic Ear, Jim held a number of financial management positions within American Hospital Supply Corporation. He has been associated with Thompson Clive since 1980 and serves on the Board of the US Company. He earned his CPA certificate and spent three years in public accounting. Jim holds a BS in Accounting from Loyola University and an MBA in Finance from De Paul University. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Ealing Catalog, Inc.
